Holiday Club

Oakes has a range of activities foryoung people and children, providing a safe, stimulating environment that encourages them to grow and develop.

	Pre-school
	Jolly Tots Toddler Group - Friday mornings Give your child a fun time and meet with other parents and carers in a relaxed atmosphere. We have a well-equipped room and refreshments served into the bargain!

	6 to 9s
	A5 club - Fridays from 5.00 to 6.30 pm Sports & games, art & craft activities, stories and music are all on the menu at A5 Club, a pacy time for 6 to 9 year olds. Come along and join in the fun!

9 to 13s Friday Night Club (F.N.C)

6.30 - 8.00pm Fridays

Friday Night Club is a high-tempo, dynamic, fun environment for 9 to 13 year olds. The club aims to create a positive environment within which young people can develop. One of our goals is to share the Christian faith in a fun, relevant way through multi-media activities and small group work.

Due to the popularity of this club, there is a membership and a subsequent waiting list. If you would like to register a young person on the waiting list, please contact us.

11 to 14s Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF)

6.00 - 8.00pm Tuesdays

JYF is all about the 3 F's - Fun, Fellowship and Focus (throw 'food' in there Select text color and you've got 4). JYF is a great opportunity for young teens to explore more about Christianity in a relaxed, relevant environment. JYF explores the question: "What does it mean to be a Christian young person today?" Each night consists of a balance between focus and social time.

14 to 18s Youth Fellowship (YF)

6.30 - 9.15pm Sundays

YF is all about FUN, FELLOWSHIP, FOOD and FOCUS! The evening hopes to provide opportunities to stimulate all 4. As well as food, Sunday nights provide great 'soul food'! Menu item number 1: the Bible - 'God's intruction manual for life'. What does God have to say to young people living in the 21st Century? With various trips and events throughout the year, this is a dynamic fellowship to be a part of!

Live Lounge

A youth event for 11-16s. Wednesday nights, 7.00-8.30pm, @ Oakes Baptist Church, Oakes Road.

Holiday Club

Each year we run a summer holiday club for children and believe us, anything can happen!! With craft activities, Bible stories, games, workouts and videos, there really is never a dull moment.

Safety with children

We all appreciate the importance of providing a secure, loving environment and take our responsibilities seriously.
With this in mind, we operate a Safe to Grow policy, a framework that aims to protect children and workers and gives guidance in best practice when working with children and young people.
