If you are new to Oakes, we really want you to feel welcome. You will find that our worship services have an informal style, but combine informality with strong Bible-based teaching.

Morning services – every Sunday morning at 10.30 – are suitable for all ages, and include dedicated groups for different ages of children and young people, with a crèche for the very smallest! A typical Sunday morning congregation may see between 80 and 100 people attending

Evening services (the first Sunday of each month) are smaller as far as the numbers of people are concerned but provide space for reflection or discussion as they focus on prayer and communion.

House groups are a great way to get to know people in a small, relaxed setting. We have house groups running on various days of the week and the chances are there is one to suit you.

The church runs various groups for people of all ages – including children’s and youth work, Coffee and Chat every Thursday morning, and badminton (not competitive, but good for a laugh and a spot of exercise) on Monday evenings
